The Sadie Green Sales Jug band will appear at the Fire Hall at 7 0’clock on Tuesday, July 7^th. Join us for a performance which will feature the talents of Timothy Walker, a veteran entertainer and guitarist and David Driskell, a classically trained clarinetist. They are an extraordinary vaudeville style musical act. The performance includes Classic Rag and Traditional Jazz along with crazy versions of Jug Band Music. The emphasis is on entertainment. The evening is sure to delight audiences of all ages with the sounds of the musical saw, washboard, jugs, washtub bass and tuned six-pack, which are accompanied by more conventional guitar, banjo, clarinet and vocals.

Allen Hopkins and Barbara Jablonski will perform “Songs of the Civil War” at 7 o’clock on Tuesday, July 21^st at the Fire Hall. Their program is performed in costume, using restored antique instruments, the songs of the North and South, expressing patriotism, the shock of the war, and the appeal of pacifist and anti-slavery ideals. It is a promising evening which will entertain and educate you and your family.
